This notice explains how Wepairs uses personal information when you browse the website, contact us, book an appointment or use a repair service.
Who is responsible for your information
Wepairs is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at support@gadcet.com or by calling 01708 922786.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect your name, email address, mobile number, selected store, appointment details, device type, brand and model, reported fault, repair choices, notes and marketing preference. We also keep the booking reference and operational record needed to manage the repair.
A device left for repair may contain personal information. Please back it up and remove or sign out of accounts where practical. We only need access that is relevant to diagnosing, testing or carrying out the service you request.
Why we use it
We use booking and contact information to arrange appointments, provide diagnostics and repairs, communicate about the service, manage warranty or support queries, keep appropriate business records and protect the booking service from misuse.
Our lawful bases
We process information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract or to perform our repair contract with you. We may also use information for our legitimate interests in answering enquiries, operating and securing the service, preventing misuse and managing customer support. We rely on consent for optional marketing and for non-essential cookies or similar technologies where they are enabled.
Marketing
Marketing is optional and is not a condition of booking a repair. The booking form uses a separate, unticked choice. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by contacting support@gadcet.com.
Who we share information with
Information is available to authorised Wepairs staff who need it to manage the appointment or repair. We may use service providers that host or support the website, booking database and customer communications. They may process information only for the service they provide to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. If you use the language menu to translate a page, the text of that page is sent to Google to provide the translation.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, answer support and warranty questions, maintain appropriate repair and accounting records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. The period depends on the type of record and why it is held. Contact us if you want information about the retention criteria for a particular record.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to its use, and receive information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent. To make a request, email support@gadcet.com. Our UK GDPR and your data rights page explains each right, and how we handle requests, in more detail.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can investigate. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data-protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies and browser storage
The Cookie Policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by this website, including the session storage that keeps your repair selections during a booking.

We may update this notice when our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
